Bio
Ascot trio formed in the heart of a rural nowhere bred a friendship and sound isolated from the purview of the outside world. Forging their friendship from a thirst for the more extreme in their shared love of skateboarding, the trio of Kieran Godfrey, Harry Summersgill and Samuel Keysell began to find their creativity move into the world of music as the confinement of their surroundings set in and their years progressed.
With the 'Soap Carv's EP's forthcoming release, Febueder's intimate sonic pallette will emerge from the isolation into an exciting new frontier. Lead track 'Alligator's foundations of manipulated and haunting vocals dwelling over classic guitar tones and angular rhythms belie the band's true intentions. As the song breaks into a disjointedly infectious chorus, Febueder's beguling melodic strength becomes plain for all to see.

Febueder released their debut EP 'Soap Carv' on Tape Club Records on 25th November 2013. The band released the breathtaking 'Alligator' as a preview to the EP's release.
Here is what the press had to say about Soap Carv;
"A tonal exploration in texture, angular rhythms and distant vocals – it’s early days for Febueder, but if their playfulness and wide-eyed approach to making music continues, 2014 could see this young trio develop into the UK’s answer to Animal Collective."
