What are we talking about?
The Japanese buzz-saws are coming to Liverpool for the first time in a good few years. They've never fell short of shaking the city to its core. Just as the people of Merseyside thought it was safe, they're back!
As if EES alone wasn't enough, the supporting cast of Saltwater Injection, Super Fast Girlie Show & Bob Slayer is enough to rock you incontinent.
Who's Playing?
Electric Eel Shock
If we've not said enough about them already, Electric Eel Shock have released as many as 8 studio albums over the past 18 years, they've relentlessly toured the world in that time and have blazed a trail through everything that has stood in their path, the O2 Academy will be no different.
Super Fast Girlie Show
Having heard much about the severity of their rumbling, powder-keg, guttural blues rock, YB! made a point of catching them at Threshold festival in March and oh my did they make an impression. I've never felt power quite like it. It was like being caught in between a head on pick-up truck collision.
Saltwater Injection
We had the chance to work with these boys earlier this year. They opened up for our 7 band show at Maguires, in February, for people to still be talking about them at the end of the night is proof of the impact that they make. Following the recent parliamentary movements, SI's politically fuelled, meat-grinder rock has found a whole tanker full of diesel to fuel it.
Bob Slayer
Tour manager come comedian, Bob will add an extra dimension to proceedings as bringing some welcome variety to the show. He has been heralded by publications as high as the NME who hailed his infamous antics. Can't wait to see what he has in store for us at this one.
Super Bonus Round!!!
To make things even more interesting, the Yeah Buddy! Bazaar which debuted back in April will make its return selling dirt cheap CD's, DVD's, Books and Vinyl as well as a host of merchandise from independent bands from around the country.
