It's that time of year again... From this Wednesday to little over a weeks time, Liverpool will be taken over by the World's biggest, and smallest. From huge acts and performers like Dinosaur Jr, Warpaint, and film's scary uncle, John Carpenter, to Liverpool best and brightest; Clean Cut Kid, Queen Zee and the Sasstones, All We Are, and much more. If you're struggling to decide who to watch out of the countless stages, here's OUR pick for the best acts this week and next!
ALL WE ARE
Wednesday 26th - Grand Central Dome
All We Are are simultaneously Liverpool's shining beacon, and it's best kept secret. Supporting heavyweighters WARPAINT, All We Are are bringing the dancy rhythms and catchy tunes, with some of the uniquest reverby pop to such an incredibly unique venue. Their self-titled debut album came out last year, and it's packed full of juicy gems. Hopefully new material will accompany them, but if not, their debut album will give them plenty of danceable goodness.

DINOSAUR JR
Thursday 27th - Arts Club
Grunge's godfathers are making a well deserved return with their brand new album 'Give A Glimpse Of What Yer Not'. Lead single 'Tiny' is an instant classic, with the trebly distortion, and crashing drums we've come to expect from Dino. No doubt a set of the new album and old classics 'Feel The Pain', 'Start Choppin'', and 'Freak Scene' amongst others will be played. Grab your plaid shirts, massive glasses, and come remember the late 80's/early 90s!

CLEAN CUT KID
Saturday 29th - Arts Club
If you're from Liverpool and have not yet heard of CCK, then where've you been?! Featuring smooth pop rhythms, dancy tunes, and the happiest bassist on the planet 'Saul Goodman' (yes that IS his real name. Don't call him even if you think you'd better), these guys are sure to impress. Fresh off their UK Tour, these guys will be ramped and ready to play! Their recognition is only to rise, so make sure you see them NOW while you can fit into the smaller space of the Arts Club!

BATHYMETRY
Saturday 29th - Arts Club Loft
Playing as part of the DIY 'Breaking Out' series of events, these guys and gals bring their shoegazy loveliness to the Arts Club Loft. Probably the most laid back artist on this week, Bathymetry are Liverpool's fuzziest, reverbiest, warmest band.

JALEN N'GONDA
Monday 31st - Leaf Cafe
Jalen is somewhat of an enigma around Liverpool. American born LIPA student who got too big for LIPA and is now Liverpool best non-secret, Jalen is as soulful as he is brilliant! Bringing some warmer tones and smoother acoustic guitar to the Leaf Cafe, he supports Louis Berry in what will be one of the nicer, quieter nights. If you've not heard the buzz around Jalen yet, have a read, and you'll see why this guy cannot be missed.
