It's probably a nice criticism to receive, but I really would have liked a few of the tracks to have been longer, as when the band are picking up steam and you just want them to keep smashing it out they tend to jump to the next section or finish abruptley. It's not that there's anything wrong with a bit of prick teasing every now and then, just that some of us would like to indulge in an extended bit of head banging once in a while.
Stand out track for me was "Slow Motion View" for that epic build up to a Deftones sounding guitar blow out at the end. It's a beast of song with a big doomy riff throughout until the songs climax, where that sudden stop thing I was complaining about earlier worked best out of all the tracks. Listening to this band it was nice to be reminded of the good stuff from noughties as a lot of people do look back on the decade as a bit of a musical wasteland, so all in all a very smart bit of alternative rock.
